Our first time out on the mountain bikes since cycling round Île d'Oleron last June. We parked in Malltraeth and cycled over to Pen Cob, and then continued through the forest on the fire roads.
It felt like the first day of Spring. 17C with a cool SW breeze. Lots of saddle position tweaking needed as it was quite uncomfortable. Firebreak roads through the forest led to the beach. A good hour's stop at the beach for our lunch of cheese and salami pittas and Greek salad. Someone went into the sea and submerged themselves fully!
We followed part of a signed mtb route back to the car.
